New York Times bestselling author,
coach, and speaker who has sold more than 26 million books in 50
languages, is expected to speak at the 2018 Influence to Inspire
Conference billed to hold in Lagos from July 19 to 20.
The conference is expected to be graced
by over two thousand professionals and individuals from all spheres of
industry across the globe. According to organisers, the conference,
Influence to Inspire Leadership Empowerment Initiative is to build an
army of leaders across the country from different walks of life.
The principal host of the conference,
Jane Ivhurie noted that the conference will host over two thousand
corporate attendees across Nigeria to reach their highest leadership
potential to adopt the ‘influence-based leadership’ lifestyle for
professional growth.
“I am one of those that will be learning
from this because there is no limit to learning. From the corporate
world, I have been opportune to lead a team, to lead organisation
businesses. It goes beyond the word leader. What defines our success
about leader is when those we have helped or those whom we had led can
actually testify to say they were positively impacted or they have
really grown from a certain level to a certain level,” she said..
Speaking on benefits of the attendees,
Ivhurie said “society recognition for CSR contribution, team growth and
empowerment, improved clients relationships, experiencing one-on-one
individual insight from the business leader and industry game changer,
John Maxwell, as well as premium brand and exposure of brand to over
2000 high net-worth attendees.”
In 2014 Maxwell was identified as the
number one leader in business by the American Management Association and
the most influential leadership expert in the world by Business Insider
and Inc. magazine.
As the founder of The John Maxwell
Company, The John Maxwell Team, EQUIP, and the John Maxwell Leadership
Foundation, he has trained more than six million leaders. In 2015, he
reached the milestone of having trained leaders from every country of
the world. The recipient of the Mother Teresa Prize for Global Peace and
Leadership from the Luminary Leadership Network, Maxwell speaks each
year to Fortune 500 companies, presidents of nations, and many of the
world’s top business leaders.
